1. Its part of your yahoo profile, you can choose to upload your own picture or you can choose to create an avatar. Go to edit my info, and there will be a section for you to update your picture, on the right is an option to update your yahoo avatar.

If you want a avatar, like a cartoon picture, then *Go to http://avatars.yahoo.com *When you get there click "Preferences" to choose male or female. *Click save after you choose. *Then you can create what you want to look like. Appearance, apparel, extras, etc. *Look around at the sub categories, face, hair, eyes, all categories have numbered pages, so take your time. *As you are trying thing you will see in the avatar pane. When you like it, click "Save Changes". You can save things to Favorites for another time. *Now, come back to Yahoo Answers.
