What do I do about an unknown number that keeps calling?

This is kind of scary. I keep getting phone calls from a number that just says "unknown" and when I answer, they hang up. I've gotten about seven of those calls in the past 2 days. Then last night at around 1am, the phone rings again with the same unknown number. In my daze, I answer the phone and I hear a woman talking. She asked me who I was and I stupidly gave my full name, thinking it was a wrong number. She repeated the name back to me and when I asked who this was, she said "Courtney Cox." I hung up on her thinking it was a prank, but now I'm really worried about what that call was. I know nobody who would prank call me to begin with, much less do it seven times. And the fact I gave my full name to this person or persons has made me pretty paranoid. I looked online to see if people have experienced similar calls, but nothing so far like this. I'm thinking about getting my number changed, but I wonder if that's even enough. What should my next course of action be?

1. get a new number
2. block private calls. Make them have to show who they are. Or you could just not answer. Keep your door locked though, they could be calling to see if anyone is home so they can rob you.
3. Contact your telco provider and discuss with them. If they cannot help, change your number.
4. go ahead and change your phone number
5. could be someone you know not wanting you to know its them, change your number if it makes you feel better, don't give anyone your name again, they called you, when i get that i wont tell them my name, just tell them they dialed the wrong number.
