My Funny Picture

How do i open downloaded files on my mac, when i open it gives me some crazy script!!?

ok, so I was trying to download a google photo editing file called picasa. I just wanted to add cool effects to my pictures and i downloaded it on my mac. it downloaded but when i clicked on it for it to "open" a box came up with all this weird computer scripts. I am very computer dumb and i really want to use picasa. What do I do??

1. You have to make sure that the program in Mac compatible (i.e. ending in .dmg). If that isn't the problem, then there is a problem with the program. try downloading it from a different site.
2. Picasa isn't compatible with Mac :( I like Picasa too but I love my Mac
3. exe file types are not readable by mac. make sure what your downloading is mac compatable
