Is the press alt and f4 used as a prank for computer illiterates?

I've seen people mentioning this and see people posting that on random places I see. Is that what it is for? LOL

1. Yes all it does is close the page you're working on. But if you're on a word document it would ask if you would like to save anyway
2. It's to close the main window you're using at the time, and make people mad.
3. yes, its a prank, and a very funny one! As soon as grampa joe presses alt and f4 to "speed up his internet access" the whole interweb screen disappears and then the prankz0r is ROFLMFAO. At least I think thats how it goes.
