Internet scary pranks?

Everyone's familiar with the "scary maze game": The original: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oh87njiWTmw And here's another: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kRZI1T0aUC8 HILARIOUS! But if this prank is so familiar to so many people, why do we fall for it every time? Even I've gotten pranked by it, and I've watched a bunch of clips featuring the dreaded "maze game." There are plenty of similiar clips, but what about this one that terrifies everyone so? Sorry if this is in the wrong category, I couldn't figure out where else to put it.

1. Because it's scary. That's why they call it the "SCARY maze game". Haha. Then again, it catches people off guard easily.
