  1. Depends on the state, but in most states you probably only got a misdemeanor for a prank in highschool that the judge expunged from your record after you complete some community service hours and like 6 months probation. IF that is true then it will not be on your record. Anything else that has not been expunged will be on your record tho. Most applications however usually only ask if you ever got a felony not a misdemeanor.
  2. Depends on how old you were when you were sentenced. If you were under 18, most likely not. The police will be able to see it, but not anyone doing a background check.
  3. It is in the computer and always shows..........................................
  4. No it won't show. No matter what, anything you do as a minor, won't show up on your record. A misdemeanor won't show. A felony won't show. If you were tried and convicted before your 18th birthday ( 17 in some places, and depending how much trouble you've acquired through whatever you did ), it will not show. You can apply at any job, and you're supposed to check " NO " if you don't have any felonies after your 18th birthday.
  5. If you were a minor, it should not show to the general public.
  6. after 7yrs it goes away
  7. If you were a minor at the time, then no.
  8. It depends on the charge, whether it was a criminal charge or some type of ordinance violation....Some criminal laws are adopted by local ordinance. When it comes to high school kids and "youthful indescretions" we try to apply those instead of screwing a kid over with a misdemeanor charge. To answer your question, it probably still shows on your criminal history, but I wouldn't sweat it. It'll show the date you were arrested and stuff, but if your'e applying for a job or something, just explain what happened. "A senior prank, bad decision, fine & supervision, never did it again...blah blah blah..." Even cops have done stupid things as teenagers.
