Is asking to "prank" someone, or take revenge on someone....?
... a "question" that Y!A might consider an "illegal" question? I mean... Some people... they ask for pranks or ways of getting revenge on others (see 2 questions below for examples)... and people who post some answers post some pretty ILLEGAL things (i.e. sugar in gas tank, placing a "bomb" kind of device under a car... these are ACTUAL answers from these 2 questions!!). Shouldn't this be considered by Y!A to be "illegal"? ... Afterall, they are SERIOUSLY asking the Y!A community to "aid and abet" something that can result in be arrested! http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aoh8Y_HORTMyhLkY8kckCEze7BR.;_ylv=3?qid=20080418183049AAT6JSE http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ald3DwPqMcVVQWE5k.U7n4ze7BR.;_ylv=3?qid=20080418191708AAES6wa Blockparty... <blush> thanks... yep...that's ME. I don't hide. I'm still "on the fence" about whether the questions should be reports and that's why I'm asking for some clarification. zynr... I did report them... both. But to be deleted, at least TWO people have to report them. My "single" reports were insufficient. Thanks to those who also reported, along WITH MY reports, they were finally both deleted. Please watch your accusations and assumptions in the future.

- yes, yes! why are you asking? just report that type of thing. you look like someone who's got good judgment (assuming that's your picture :o).
- the know that is a joke especially the one with a bomb device. what is really illegal to ask, I am going to kill myself.
- I'm surprised someone didn't report. There are so many people that report for the wrong reasons, why not the right reasons. I just don't answer those types of questions, so I guess I'm guilty of not reporting.
- Yes, all of those indicate direct or potential harm to people, property, or animals. They are violations and should be reported.
- yes...it definetly should!
- yes I think that is absurd and can harm people
- These people need to be reported to the police. They are a real threat to peoples lives
- Hi there! I just checked out the 1st one, and a couple of the answers Definitely! violate Yahoo Answer's Terms of Service. The 2nd one HAS already been deleted, judging from your description, someone did us all a favour already! Here is the link for knowing what is good - bad re: questions and answers here. Don't be afraid to report them. These answers aren't funny, they're illegal in some cases. Yahoo doesn't respect nor want these on here. I've already reported them. They broke several of the rules..
- I didn't get a chance to look at the questions because, thankfully, they had been deleted. But yes, questions like you describe AND the answers that can result, would be considered illegal, or condoning illegal behavior. They aren't there now because, unlike yourself, someone took responsibility and reported them. Sure we could thank you because you posted this question, but they remained that much longer (from the time you first discovered them), until someone saw them after reading your question. They would have been deleted sooner had your reported them. This isn't some silly chatting violation that you'd feel like a cad for reporting. Next time, for something like that, something you know is either asking for or condoning illegal or dangerous behavior, report it.
- Yeah, newsflash they were deleted anyway. Sometimes you have to wait an hour or so, i'm sure the staff is pretty busy, and if not, then well they might just be all taking a field trip to starbucks for the day.
- Well, by the time I showed up, the questions were removed, but it could bea violation area
- i guess it depends on the answer, sugar in gas tank illegal, putting shaving cream in ones hand while sleeping then tickling nose, is not, so i guess the illegal type answers should just be reported
- YES I AM PRETTY SURE YOU CAN NOT DO THAT YOU MIGHT SEE ALOT I MEAN ALOT OF THIS IN APRIL FOOLS DAY JUST REPORT THEM IF THEY JUST ARE DOING IT ON PURPOSE ONT DO IT ON DAYS LIKE APRIL FOOLS APRIL FOOLS IS JUST FOR FUM
- well, yahoo do not consider these as illegal,it is better that you report them............ist that good?
