Is it true that if you like take a picture of your dog, they will die?

Okay, this may sounds weird and crazy but I was gonna take a picture of my dog but then my uncle stopped me cuz he believes that once you take a picture of a dog, it'll die.. i don't know if that's true though cuz its really weird and i wanna take a picture of thr dog.

  3. i take pictures of my dog all the time, and he's fine. He's six and perfectly healthy. I think your uncle was just trying to scare you. Don't worry. If you're scared don't do it, but I don't think your dog will die. All my friends who have dogs have pictures off them, and they're fine also.

  9. I think your uncle is pulling your leg. All dogs die at some point---but taking a photo of one doesn't cause it. If it did then every dog that won Westminster or some other kennel club show that had their photo in the paper would have died a long time ago, right??? Maybe you should tell him that if you DON"T take a photo the dog is going to die. After all it will be true because the dog will die some day and you didn't say WHEN the dog would die.

  14. I've never heard of this. I've taken pictures of my dogs for years. My German Shepherd is 11 years old. I still have puppy pictures of him.

  18. Absolutely YES, if you take a picture of your dog, he WILL DIE! Of course, if you do not take a picture of your dog, he WILL DIE anyway. Eventually, your dog will die not matter what you do or don't do. So your uncle is correct. However, your uncle is a fool if he thinks that if you take a picture of your dog, he will die any sooner than if you do not. That is not the case.

  20. I take photos of my dogs about every day! You should take lots of photos so when your dog does pass in the future you will always have somthing to remember him/her by.

  28. I have taken over 20 pictures of my dog in one day! That was three years ago. She is still living.
  29. Does your uncle have you pull his finger too? Just messing with you. I have hundreds of pics of my dogs, some died but that was from old age, not a Kodak moment.
