Fish pimple?

A few days ago my goldfish that i've had for over a year started acting really weird. He was just sitting at the bottom of the tank (not laying on his side or anything) but then when i fed my other fish he came up to the surface and ate some food and he seemed to be fine for awhile, but then the next day i noticed he was looking kind of bloated and was sitting on the bottom again. and today i noticed he had something sticking out from under his scales, at first it looked like a tank rock but then when i checked on him again it was almost as if he had a zit coming from under his scales. i know it would be better if i had a picture so ill try to explain what it looks like as best i can. He is just a common goldfish, not orange but kind of a gold copper color, i could see the puss under his scales before it came out, it looked just like a white head. and after it seemed as if it all came out his scaled looked as if it was missing and there was a speck of blood on it. Im treating him for parasites, but im not sure if its helping or not. and i dont think its because he damaged his scale because there is more then one bump on him. but thanks for trying to help.

1. maybe a ancor worm,i would get a parasite treat ment for him http://www.australianwatergardener.com/content.asp?Category=303 or could be anything i would look at pic on the net to be sure what he has before i would treat him or look at this link, i said ancor worms because they are more common
2. your goldfish could have damaged one of his scales, and where he damaged it it could have become infected. go to your local pet shop and ask them there or ring up your vet for some advice. but whatever you do don' t touch it or you might burst a blood vessel in your fish and kill him. good luck = )
3. hurry run in the nearest pet store and buy the best, effective, high quality treatment fot goldy diseases or else ill die for sure. gud luck and rush!
