Any fish tank ideas?

I have a ten gallon fish tank with two bettas it in. I have a divider so they can't get to eachother. It has a pump and I have to turn it off because it makes this really weird noise and I can't fix it. Plus it's miserable to clean. I am looking for a good size tank that has enough room for two bettas but isn't quite as big. I don't want a one or two gallon either. Any suggestions? Pictures would be appreciated too!

  1. ten gallons is good! you could get 2 5gallon tanks and use the same gravel thats in the 10g so you dont have to re-cycle the tank
  2. hi, is your betta a male and female? is your tank a "bare bottom set up"? why dont you try planted tank set up.10 gallon tank is enough for them both. it would look good for your tank and for your bettas. happy fish keeping
  3. you could easily keep two bettas in a 5gal tank as long as they are both females... with that being said it would be bad to have a divider in a 5gal and seclude your fish to a small area. if you use some small plants and a small amount of gravel cleaning in a 5gal should be fairly easy as well. you can get a good 5gal bow front tank at walmart.com. hope this helps.
  4. You don't need a pump for a betta fish, a goldfish bowl will be fine
