How do you change your run if you run weird?
Ever since you're a kid you always run with your legs out to the side instead of behind you. Funny picture I know. You did that so you won't fall. So do I just run on the treadmill with a mirror on the side of the wall to watch me run make sure I'm doing it right? Suggestions? Please don't make fun.

- You need to break it down into sections and concentrate on one at a time. Your knees should lift up and forwards. Watch a sprinter, and incorporate the basic motions in a less full-on fashion, and you should have a good start. A mirror would help, but ask your gym staff to help. Even a friend might be able to give you some pointers. Don't worry too much. Even sprinters have varying styles, but if yours is awkward and inefficient, just work at it bit by bit. Good luck.. Look up biomechanics and running, you might find some info. EDIT Mayube even look for info about teaching children to throw and run. They might have some general info about breaking down and sequencing actions, as you would need to do this to teach a child too. Best wishes, and good luck J
