World of Warcraft Hunter Pet Question?

I keep seeing other hunters with really weird almost alien like pets and i found a picture of one on the internet http://www.wowinsider.com/media/2006/10/40m734p.jpg If anyone could give me the area of where these animals are and what level they are.

1. Ahhh you must be fairly new to either the Hunter class, Outlands, or the game in general. 2. The pet in the image you've linked is a Spore Bat, which are found in the Zangarmarsh zone in Outlands. You'll need to be in your low 60's level-wise, and have the Burning Crusade expansion, in order to get one. Happy hunting!
3. Id recommend using thottbott or wowhead and searching for mobs around you level, and just pick out one you like, and then follow the directions it gives you on where to find them Happy hunting =)
