My Funny Picture

I found a weird looking cat in the apartment garden? Help?

Me and my friend found it near a plant. It wasnt scared at all. It actually ran up to us. He is very playful and friendly. He looks ugly but I dont really care. He has GIGANTIC ears, big head compared to body, big eyes, weird markings, only around 4.5 pounds. We brought it inside my apartment and it looks like its starving. What human foods can cats eat? I am only in the 6th grade but I know a lot about animal behaviour and my parents will probably let me keep him if the owners dont claim him. They dont know yet because they dont come home till 6 on Wednesday but they said I could have another pet soon. It doesnt belong to anybody in the apartment because there are only 5 other families that live here and everybody knows each other. What kind of cat is it? Sorry no picture we HAD a camera but my brother broke it a week ago. I looked some cats up and I think its a devon rex. My parents should be home soon.

  1. well, it must still be a kitten amd without a picture there is no way to tell. Get some cat food because the tuna fish and milk for cats is a myth and isn't good for them.
  2. Feeding him human food especially if he hasn't eaten i a while is not a good idea as the rich food may cause digestive upset. Wait until your parents get home and ask them to get some cat food. He is probable a moggie (mixed breed) and may appear disproportionate because he is so underweight and may also be a half grown kitten. No telling what he will look like body type wise once he fills back out to an good weight and or matures
  3. you could give the cat some tuna fish, or some milk, some broken up pieces of chicken or pretty much any other kind of meat, just dont give him too much because he can get sick, especially if he hasnt eaten in a cuple of days. if he does get sick after eating, it is pretty normal, just give him some milk to settle his stomach, good luck and be careful, stray cats can sometimes be a little strange, you dont want to get scratched!
