Is it weird for an 18 year old to have LOTS of stuffed animals/plushies?

I'm almost 18, and I have a LOTTTT of plushies and stuffed animals. I'm positive I have way more than 100. A lot of them were gifts from friends and some of them I just bought cus I thought they were really cute. I love them, and they make me feel a lot better when I'm sad or something I can just take one or a bunch and hug them and feel less lonely, haha. But anyways, sometimes it gets kinda embarrassing; like I didn't even want my boyfriend to see my room cus I was scared he'd think I was a dork and so I didn't let him go in my room until like 2 months later, and he was just like "WOW.." and I was so embarrassed. -___- But it sucks to have to get rid of them, once in a while I'll donate some, but I dunno, I don't think I can detach myself from all of them, I can picture myself in the future as an old lady with a bunch of stuffed animals. xD Well, do you think it's weird to have so many? I feel kinda loser-ish to have so many.. lol.. =[

I'm 18 and still sleep with a stuffed animal. my friends accept it fine..
no. It is not weird at all. My sisters and i like them alot and we are in our 60-70 years of adge. If you have them enjoy them. Save some for your kids.
thats so cool! don't get rid of them, if they're important to you then keep them. having so many stuffed animals makes you unique and is a part of who you are, so don't change [by getting rid of them] to impress other people. if people treat you badly because you have them then stand up for yourself. you should be proud of who you are and what you own (:
I don't see anything wrong with it. If my girlfriend had a lot of stuffed toys, I'd consider it more cute than annoying. Its just you, and you can't change who you are :-)
No it's not that weird. There are 18y/o guys that still watch Japanamation. But I used to have a massive collection too. And out of trying to rebel against being too childish I got rid of a large # of my stuffed animals and plushies, and to this day I really regret that. I miss some of them, some of them had a history. And I'm 25 now, and pregnant with my little girl and I honestly wish I still had them so I could pass them onto her. *sigh* Don't get rid of your plushies.
haha...I'm 14 and I have a ton!!! What can I say, I'm a packrat! I have over 300 beanie babies or something like that!! If you have to get rid of some, give them to a little girl you babysit, or a good family friend that's what I did with a little 3 yr old girl that I've known since she was born....it'll make it easier to part with your "friend" haha yep
y weird? c mon.. u should be happy,... u must be one of a kind,,, just be proud of it... tell it to people as if its ur greatest quality.. wat... c mon.. others collect bugs n stuff and not many think its weird..... n guess wat?? weird "in the sence of different might me the exact thing that might atract interesting people twprds u.. nobody likes common people... except the common people whi have nothing interesting in their life.. so cheer up girl.. ure supper cool with all ur 100 toys.. try to gather 10000.. u could even win a prize for that.
