1. Yes. That's a violation of the Yahoo Terms of Service and Community Guidlines. We're not allowed to post pictures up here -- it's dangerous and it's more of for chatting purposes rather than for help. It's not necessarily wierd, but I hate it when young teens come on this site and ask "Am I pretty?" when the answer is that if they can't have confidence in themself then they're not beautiful. True beauty comes with confidence in oneself.
2. I think it's a normal thing for the young teens to be concerend about what others think of their appearance. It just doesn't belong in yahoo answers is all.
3. Not only do I think it's weird, but it's a violation of the Community Guidelines to do so. I think it's ridiculous that people would make their pictures available to thousands of complete strangers and care about what they think, or set themselves up to be hurt. It's sad and pathetic.

5. I think that's just because of the curiosity. They need other objective point of view from others.
6. No, not weird, sort of expected for young teens to want to be told they are Ok - its just sort of sad to me they feel the need to do it. I hope my daughter never needs reassurance from thousands of strangers that her looks matter more than what is inside.
