Why do people take pictures in weird angles? I hate it!!?

its like they onyl want to show the thin part of their faces and the rest of their bodies!!!! why??? why cant they take normal pictures... do they really have to put the camera in the air and take it from the sky??? just to look skinnier??? its so frustrating@@@ andf then whenyou look at the real [person yuo see tha they do have cheeks and fat bodies... why??? it drives me crazy!!!!!!!!!! 1. People who do that are mostly the insecure ones about their body. They try to make themselves look better by trying out different angles. Some ppl take it from the creative side but I agree w/ you. It's annoying and ppl should just accept themselve s for who they are.
2. It is all part of the point of view of the photographer. Some call it art, some style and some poor composition. Not much you can do about it, but avoid looking at it.

6. Photographers are trained to take photos from different perspectives to make photos look more interesting. Doesn't mean it always works great. That first photo doesn't really do much for me. I can't get the second photo link to work so I can't comment. I don't think it has anything to do with hiding fat.
7. Because it's flattering and sometimes they figure it's creative. Seriously, I would just get over it.
8. because the same lame camera angle gets boooring! gotta try different stuff. up high, down low, from the side, in the mirror, half of your face, looking at the camera, looking away, laughing. it's called art sweetie.
9. A lot of it is the "hold the camera as far from you" self portrait that has become synonymous with myspace pics. You get what you get. Some like it, some dont.... Its a fast food world.
10. Second link doesnt work Its cool to shoot at different angle. It mixes it up a little bit and if people look a little better if a picture is taken a certain way then let them take them that way. Havent you ever heard of actors and actresses talking about beeing shot on their good side?... Everyone does it take a chill pill and calm down breath a little

12. well to look better i guess, this is mainly done by people that are insecure about how ugly they would come out if they took a right picture. btwy gurl i diont know wat chu b complainin bout if ur picture was taken at an angle as well!!!!
13. photographers are trained to capture the best in a person. if they don't make their client happy with the way they look, they lose their reputation.
