do u ever feel weird when you look at pictures of yourself???

i don't think i look bad or anything .. but everytime i look at my photographs ... i feel like i don't know who that is .... i mean i like what i see in the mirror .. but then my pictures just depress me ... cuz its not what i expected ... its a stranger

4. O0OO0 yes happens sometimes i feel like i look so good and i take pictures and im like is this really what i look like??but yea happens 2 everyone and usually people look better in person,unless they fix up their piks
5. Yep. I usually jokingly say "is that what I look like?!" because it doesn't look like what I imagine I look like. lol

7. Some people just are not photogenic. You are probably overanalyzing your pics. As long as you are happy with yourself thats all that matters.
8. well not alot but its happened before. its like you dont know what you felt when you took the picture. its hard to explain in words. you know that the person in the picture is you but you cant understand it. like its another part of you that you dont know about. now that i think about it when i see my pictures i cant tell what i was feeling in them. almost as if i dont remember taking it. its hard to describe. but yeah, i know what youre talking about. its hard to deal with sometimes you get frustrated or angry. and other times you just wonder. they way you used 'depress' can go in opposite ways i guess. i dont really have any advice to give you but just know that before you can expect what you see you have to learn it. im still having problems with the same thing. mirrors and pictures can help you describe yourself.

10. You have a point here; we do reflect a lot when we continue to look at any picture for sometime. Since a critic is always embedded in us, we might think of "n" number of ways to have bettered the particular snap. This is especially true if you are in a group and you find something good about your friend but you feel that the pose you stiked in the snap is not good enough to have "you" standing out. When you look at a mirror you can change the way you stand or whatever to give you a glimpse of satisfaction; in a snap you have already completed the task of posing and can simply retroscpect. On the more practical front, the studio might have done some touch-ups, the light effects could be such that it gives unwanted glimmer, the subject is not necessarilt photogenic.
11. i dont feel wierd at all looking at my pics. You may be feeling that coz perhaps you do not have a photo genic face. But then many people are not photo genic and still dont feel the way you do. I would not know why you feel that ways coz its pretty wierd, strange and rare.
12. Myself often wonder, why am i looking so 'dangerous' in photo? Ya, may be my face is not photogenic. Whenever i show my photos to my friends, i always fear whether they will comment about my appearance in the photo. This is natural with the person with inferiority complex. Ya, many a time I feel weird at my own photos.

Hi Hopeless, i have the same problem and i often thought why me??? i even screem after see my pics, like nut cake... why me who looks great in every out fit and without and suddenly look most ugly pic... but never got any ans. from few years i started taking my own pics without anyones assistance hoping for different ans...guess what??? thy turned out to be great n sexy thn every, now when i do group pic with my family and friends thy also coming up nice so have faith, u'll find your great pics of u one day soon and keep trying.. xoxoxoxo gud luck

16. Could be the reason that whatever one thinks come on his face...so the thinking which was there when the pic was taken is not matching when u see the pic...so looks like the pic is of stranger. Or one simple reason is ...Expectation is very high however reality is pretty normal.
