SysCleaner. Help!!!!!!Driving me crazy.10 POINTS!!!!!?

10 POINTS!!!! I have obviously ended up downloading something I shouldn't have and now SysCleaner keeps on popping up. Connecting to internet. Starting to download, so you can't leave the computer for a second. Changed ALL of my 'display' settings. Can't change the desktop which now says "that the system is infected with spyware blah, blah, blah" Other pop ups have now started warning of Trojans but I know it's SysCleaner. It's also opening Fetish sex sites! I have a 12 year old son and the pictures are XXXX rated. I have run Avast, Adaware and Spybot. I can't get rid of the stupid thing. It's slowing the computer down a lot of course and I really don't want to take it in and get it removed. Does anyone know how to get rind of this??? Has anybody successfully removed it? Only recommend legit sites. I have installed sites before and downloaded MORE Trojans. HELP!!!!!!!! 10 Points!!!!!!!!! RAMI B What is this re setup thing. This is a brand spanking new top of the range laptop.

  1. Everything you need to know on how to remove Syscleaner, either manually or using a free legit malware/spyware remover can be found here: http://www.2-spyware.com/remove-syscleaner.html I really hope this works for you, hate to see your 12 year old exposed to the explicit sites launched by that annoying malware.
  2. You have two options: One is buy a anti-virus software, however, it is not guaranteed that it will work. Your other option is to reinstall your operating system (windows, etc.) with the cd if your computer does not have the re setup system which is usually on newer computers.
  3. Its a pain in the ars to get rid of, but if you go to http://www.411-spyware.com/remove-syscleaner scroll down the page and find the manual removal instructs....most automatic scanners and removals won't actually get rid of it.....you have to stop it from running, then stop it from reinstalling itself, then get it out of the registry, and finally delete the files it embedded in the system......and its been my experience the only way to do it is manually......,the steps on the page do work, and you may not have all the files listed, but follow the instructs and you should be able to get it off the system without having to reinstall.
  4. SysCleaner might be saved as a program in your computer and therefore you might be able to remove it from your computer by entering in Control PAnel > Add/Remove programs. If it is still not working, download the microsoft malicious software removal tool from www.microsoft.com and run it. Also try running Avast, adaware and spybot in safemode. This can be done by pressing the F8 button repeatedly as soon as you start your computer until you see a black screen appear with different menus. Choose safe mode If this does not solve any problem then you might need to do a clean install of windows (you will lose all existing data) as the windows is too badly affected. Once this problem is solved, install a firewall. it will help you manage which program has the right to connect to the internet. (a good free one is comodo firewall pro)
