Is the anti-spyware suddenly closing my YM?

After installing Spybot - Search & Destroy, my YM 8 started acting funny. Whenever I would try to send/receive files, upload new display pictures or anything that required browsing through my files, YM 8 would suddenly close. I tried installing YM 9, thinking that it would solve my problem, but now I think it has something to do with the anti-spyware software. Has anyone worked with this software before? Has anyone experienced this problem before? Did you do anything that helped solve it?

1. I'm running Spybot and Y!M together without any problem whatsoever... ;) 1. Upgrade Spybot and Y!M to the most recent release version. 2. Try and disable Spybot for a while and see whether this solves your problem.
2. I had spybot S/D last year and was getting the same reaction then I went with another AVG antispy ware(free) and the problem was gone so i would say that it is to blame.
