My Funny Picture

Took pictures of a firework display and a parade?

I would love to send two photos of one picture of the firework display and a picture of the parade. How can I choose which photo to submit to a newspaper company? I felt that they fire company did an excellent job at their Summerfest that they should be recognize for their achievements since it was their 3rd year of doing the Summerfest. P.S. PLEASE don't suggest for me to sell the photos either because I refuse to do so. THANK YOU!!! http://psu.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2367158&l=19330&id=9338465 Pictures of the fireworks

  1. I would simply put the photos in an envelope and mail them to them. I'm not sure that I understand you question.
  2. Pick the pictures you think best represent the situation and send them to the newspaper. They may or may not use them depending on the quality and if they have a story to go with them.
  3. the ones i have seen was great, look on their web site or give them a call ask for the picture desk or the email address for the picture desk but you will have to get the photos to them before the dead line so contact them 8am and tell them you have some images they maybe interested in and go form there Good luck
  4. ?where are they, why not show them here?
  5. Those are pretty nice fireworks images. Images of fireworks rarely appear in newsprint. The resoulution just doesn't work well. I'm not sure I understand the question either because I don't see any parade pics. You could just send links of the photo pages to the publications you want to give the photos to and have them decide. Kinda like proofs. When they decide what they want, send them full resolution file. Me? http://lamplightphoto.com
  6. ask the parade for there permission than send it to the newspaper and have it printed there the people will reed it and know about it and pic the pic if they want them
