How do you get a display picture on your MSN messenger?

I am trying to get a display picture for my MSN messenger, but how?

1. Just put one up there! Duh silly girl...
2. There is a picture box on your messenger box. Click on it. If you don't see it, go to preferences and change the display picture there.
3. as far as i am aware the only messenger with MSN that dont let you display a pic is the really old one...so maybe you have to upgrade the version you have? other than that open up a messenger bow or click on your display name and scroll to 'change display picture' and select one that way. there is also lil arrows on a messenger bow to hide the pictures make sure that isnt on too =) hope that helped
4. on your main window, (the one with all your contacts) click on the button labeled 'tools'. then click on 'options'. a window should pop up and will have different information where you can change your display name and such. there is a section with 'display picture' click on 'change picture' and you can choose which picture you want
5. first you go to open messenger and when it comes up sign in...then go to toolsand click on change your display picture. And then you can pick what pics you want for your msn ...and click ok.
