How do yyou see your online contacts display pictures? instead of the green msn icon?

Mine is just the little green dude Is there a way to change it so i can see peoples display pictures? If i talk to them in the conversation window i see their dp but not on my contact list

1. no,you can only see the little green dude theres no way to change it to there picture..but if you click on them once a little window pops up and you can see their picture hope i helped.. :D
2. to the above answer...yes there is a way -open up msn -right beside the little green msn icon with the plus sign (icon for adding contacts) there should be arrows right bside eachother that point up and down...click on that -then go down, second from the bottom it should say "show contacts details"...click that and you should see them hope that helps
3. sometimes it does show up but I think it depends on the person's settings and not your own - I haven't figured it out yet, but some of my contacts sometimes show up with small pics while others don't. I don't know, it's weird... Edit: I tried what C D says, it's the up and down arrows to the right of the screen - now showing with pics! C D should get best answer, I didn't know that so thanks!
