what are some of your favorite (simple) office pranks? i work in a small office (less than 10 co-workers) and two of us have teamed up to start a prank war. nothing too crazy (like the tin foil office prank would be too much) but, for example, someone suggested putting a doorbell in the ceiling tile and making it ding throughout the day. another one is dipping the tips of pens into clear nail polish so they wont write. any other good ideas??

Here's what I did so far: 1) Got a wireless doorbell ringer and hid it in tiles over coworkers desk. Office pranks...tell me your best.? I just love office pranks. One guy at work had this stuffed animal monkey. I kidnapped it and left an anonymous picture with him tied and gagged in a little chair. Since this point I have been leaving pictures periodically with clues...one with him behind bars and bananas out of reach, another with the great escape (stuffed bear helping to lower him out a window). And the last one I climbed a tree and tied his arms to a branch so he looked like he was swinging. Sometimes we send fuzz, seriously, dust bunnies to people by interoffice mail. Other things...leaving the gum that slides out of the package on someones desk only it's empty and with a note taped to the inside: Were you expecting something chewy and delicious? Oh I'm sorry maybe you can find a gum ball machine. I want to hear some good ones. Even if they are just plain nasty.
Does anyone have any HARMLESS office pranks to play on some deserving co-workers? I tried this one - Hillarious!! I removed the sugar from the office coffee sugar dispenser and replaced it with salt. lol You should have seen the faces of some of these people when they took a sip of their coffee.

One time at my office someone put a fart machine under a chair in a conference room and would make it fart quietly during meetings, which would make the person in the chair look guilty and everyone else would have to act like they didn't hear anything. best pranks to pull (a la the office)? Ok, so I have a friend who LOVES to pull pranks and like mess with people. Like, today, he covered his best friend's car in grass because the kid is allergic to grass and we all make fun of him for it. He does stuff like that all the time, so I really want to get him good. What are some good computer pranks for the office? I'm looking for pranks I can pull on my co-workers, like changing the settings on their computers when they get up for coffee, nothing that will harm the computer or make them loose any work, just something to freak them out for a minute. Here are some of my ideas: Change the text color on their document to white, making it look like they lost their work. take a screenshot of their desktop background, save it as their new desktop backgound, disable the icons (the icons will still show up but they will just be part of the background picture) and watch them freak out when icons don't work Install a wireless mouse and click randomly while they think their computer is possesed. save a picture with the words "Your Fired" as the desktop, then when they return say "(bosses name) was looking for you, he seemed pretty pissed off, then he sat down and did something on your computer, any idea what it was all about?" Anyone think these are funny and do you have any more ideas?

Are Office pranks morally wrong? The little Chinese man I work with doesn’t know why his plant keeps dying. Am I morally inclined to admit to him that I have been pouring orange juice in it every time he makes me mad?
