How does seating at the Comedy Works in Denver work? is it general admission? stadium seating? tables with a wait staff? I have never been but I am trying to arrange a night out with some friends to see Charlie Murphy. Thanks I was looking for an answer, not a link to a website which I have already been to. I wanted an answer tonight, as there is nobody to talk to over there at comedy works right now. Only leave an answer to the question.

Where can I find an open mic for stand-up comedy in Denver? I've been scouring the internet in search for some stand-up open mics here in Denver, but I'm having no luck. All the information I've found is either a year or so old or about the Comedy Works, which I'm certainly not ready for. Does anyone know of anywhere I can go to try out some material I've got before making an attempt at the Comedy Works? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Has anyone ever watched Dom Irreara perform? He is coming to Denver in March and my mom will be here around that time as well and I wanted to take her to Comedy Works. Could you give me a review on Don Irrera?

Fun stuff in Denver.....? I am BRAND new to the Denver area and go figure my assingment for work is to plan a event here ...the assingment is looking for places to go in Denver (preferably North Denver) that everyone can be comfortable in? Nothing loud and packed just a nice comedy club, diner theater, somewhere that adults can have fun at even if they are not drinking :) HELP !!!!

When approached by long time A.C.S.A(American Collegiate Sporting Association) coach Tony Morrison recently banned from all A.C.S.A sporting events after brutally Beating a player for missing a key free throw with 0.1 Seconds left to give his team the HCM National Championship. Coach Morrison doesn’t tell them this (Yet) but he convinces them to enter the North American Basketball Tournament of Champions. They decide to join because the Championship game is on July 12th in Denver, Colorado. The only reason they agree to play is because the tournament has a cash prize of x (Will be decided later) Million Dollars just enough for them to pay for college. There other reason to play is that the World Wide Galaxy Trek (Star Trek) convention is in Denver. After losing there first 3 games and looking elimination right in the face Coach Morrison decided he needs to recruit some star players. Coach Morrison only gets one player superstar center Steve Peterson (Was number 1 basketball player in Nation but was arrested 5 times from his junior year to his senior year and every top college pulls out.) who agrees to play for Coach Morrison only because they both are A.C.S.A rejects. With the help of Peterson the team barley wins there games but ends up in the Championship game. Even though when the run onto the court Peterson gets hit by a brick thrown by an angry fan (Hired by other team) Peterson is rushed to doctors. Down by 1 point with 2 seconds left Peterson comes onto the court to everyone’s surprise and plays and hits the game winning shot. His blood gases haven't been that great, so they are going to start him on breathing treatments (think inhaler) to see if that works instead of raising the vent settings. Although it appears healthy, there has not been any drainage. They think that when they put the clotting wrap on the stoma it clotted the hole also. So in the morning he is going to decide if they need to take him back to the O.R. to unclog the stoma. This will not even be surgery, they will just poke around in the stoma to unclog it. Thank you God that it is not something major, and that nothing is to big or small for you! Please pray with us that everything goes well, and it is easy for them to find and fix the clog. Pete is doing very well. He is slow in moving around, but that is to be expected, and takes a nap each afternoon. On Friday we went out to the local grocery store and to the Walmart. Didn't spend long in either one, but it at least got him out of the house and walking around somewhere. Way too cold and slippery out to walk outside. The pains he had in his arms have subsided, which is good. We go back to the doctor on Friday and hope he will take out the drains then. I am sure he will feel even better then. Our son came over for an early dinner today with his girlfriend, along with my husband’s two brothers and sister in law. With the storm coming we had an early dinner. I was nice to have a relaxing dinner instead of a holiday dinner. I am getting used to staying home and not working, I think I need to win the lottery so I don't have to go back to work! Only minor injuries, but great grandpa was just recently diagnosed with cancer. Please keep the family in your prayers. They are in their late seventies, early eighties, and had one of their grandchildren living with them (he's only 9). The family didn't have any insurance and still has a loan owing of over $8000. The surgeon extended the old incision a little more to the left because the x ray showed a bubble over there. The bubble turned out to be a ball of bowel, stuck under another part of the bowel. As soon as he untangled it, gross as it is, the stoma started working! And because it released waste, and took a lot of pressure out of his tummy, his need for oxygen went way down! So overall he is doing really well, and he said hopefully he will soon be able to start feedings again. Praise God! Any new Birthdays or Anniversary to add to my list? He has been low on the oxygen, has gained some weight, and been pretty stable all week. God has definitely blessed us! The nurses have heard bowel sounds in his tummy, and his stoma is working as it should. Lincoln will soon be eating again! When he had his last surgery he had two IV's in his head. When they took them out his hair came with them! So he looks pretty goofy right now since he is only bald on the top of his little head! he kind of looks like a tiny old man! Thanks Stagelady for the help with the stations! from 1/20:Lincoln had another calm night. His platelet count continues to get better and better! His blood gases haven't been that great, so they are going to start him on breathing treatments (think inhaler) to see if that works instead of raising the vent settings. So he will get one of those every 6hrs for the next 24hrs to see if it helps. Thank you all so much for your continued prayers and notes of encouragement! Although it appears healthy, there has not been any drainage. They think that when they put the clotting wrap on the stoma it clotted the hole also. So in the morning he is going to decide if they need to take him back to the O.R. to unclog the stoma. This will not even be surgery, they will just poke around in the stoma to unclog it. Thank you God that it is not something major, and that nothing is to big or small for you! Please pray with us that everything goes well, and it is easy for them to find and fix the clog. Pete is doing very well. He is slow in moving around, but that is to be expected, and takes a nap each afternoon. On Friday we went out to the local grocery store and to the Walmart. Didn't spend long in either one, but it at least got him out of the house and walking around somewhere. Way too cold and slippery out to walk outside. The pains he had in his arms have subsided, which is good. We go back to the doctor on Friday and hope he will take out the drains then. I am sure he will feel even better then. Our son came over for an early dinner today with his girlfriend, along with my husband’s two brothers and sister in law. With the storm coming we had an early dinner. I was nice to have a relaxing dinner instead of a holiday dinner. I am getting used to staying home and not working, I think I need to win the lottery so I don't have to go back to work! The surgeon extended the old incision a little more to the left because the x ray showed a bubble over there. The bubble turned out to be a ball of bowel, stuck under another part of the bowel. As soon as he untangled it, gross as it is, the stoma started working! And because it released waste, and took a lot of pressure out of his tummy, his need for oxygen went way down! So overall he is doing really well, and he said hopefully he will soon be able to start feedings again. Praise God! Any new Birthdays or Anniversary to add to my list?
