How can I take better pictures of fireworks? There is a Canada Day fireworks display later tonight, and I would like to take some photographs of it. I have a Kodak EasyShare cx730 digital camera with a night-photo mode. How can I maximize the quality of my fireworks pictures?

Can you take still pictures of fireworks with a handheld camera? My wife and I plan on visiting EPCOT Center this winter, and I'd like to photograph the fireworks display from the shore. Two years ago, I had no tripod but suceeded in taking pictures of another BIG fireworks show using a handheld camera, with ISO 400 film, a 28-70mm zoom set at 35 (f 3.5) and 1/30 sec. speed. Can also use a 50 mm 1.8 lens or, if need be, a small (6 inch tall) tripod. So, is handheld photography possible in this case, or should I stick to the tripod?

Nikon D40, traveling with kids and fireworks? I have a preschooler and an infant that will be going on their first trip to Disney this summer. I plan on taking my Nikon D40, which I've only had for a few months and absoultely love, with us to take pictures. I would like to take only one lens that will be good for snap shots but can also work well for taking pictures of the scenery there and at least one evening fireworks display. If this is possilbe, what lens would your recommend to take? Also I've never taken night photos with the D40 and any help or website tutorials you could provide would be great. I need to get my practice in before our big trip in August. I'd like to take just one lens since I will have a lot of daily baggage from the baby. I currently have the kit lens and the Nikkor 70-200mm. I am not opposed to getting another lens as long as it has the option to auto focus so a suggestion in the appropriate functioning would be great (such as the AF-S series). Thanks.

But now he appeared in my dream again. In the dream. Jason and Leo were fighting throwing fire and lightnening at each other. Then that image faded back to the good times I had with Leo at the Wilderness School, when we tried to steal that statue that belonged to the principal and the time when we went on the trip to the greek museum we got lost from the group and trashed the whole museum. 16th Birthday? This will be my pre-party with my closest girlfriends. How is this plan? My Sweet Sixteen is big. My group at school is throwing my a Surprise Party. I found out myself because my mom left it in the cabinet and I had to get something from that cabinet. But I kept quiet. My guy and girl friends group. Then we will have a family party. Like we always do. Just for family. We have a big one. It will be at my house and it will be nice. I will spend the day with MY family, and then come home to that party. Then I will have the big sweet-sixteen with all 500 people. I got the party all settled. It is Circus themed at a bowling alley with a band and it will have a DJ and dance floor and it will be from 11:30 pm till 4:30 am and we will have a fireworks display. My parents said they will send my best friend and I to a surprise place for 1 or two weeks in the summer. My MAIN gift besides my car. But all of those are my plans. But now, I have to plan the party with my girlfriends. My 10 girlfriends. A party for just us. My parents own a limo company. So I will get a limo and pick up my friends for lunch. We will go to an Italian Rivera restaurant and have lunch, cake, icecream and open my presents- if they brought any. They might bring them to the other parties. But anyways, after that the limo will drive us to the lazer tag and we will play 5 games. Are they really my Friends? Ok, so there is a girl called Bella and i've known here since we were four, and we've alwas gone to the same school. In year7, me and Bella were still best friends and we were alspo best friends with a girl called Nicky. In yr7, another girl joined us, we were like 4 best friends, she was called Lizzy. After about nine months, endless talks about seemingly nothing, we realised how much we had in common, and met up for the first time to go to a firework display, before the meeting we actually met, a song was sort of picked for us (by nobody, just happened) which came on during the display. I have to mention i didn't see much of the display as my eyes were fixed on hers the whole time (she didn't notice this). Throughout the years, we became best friends and even went out for a while when we were around seventeen. Around a year ago now, i came out of a serious relationship (myself and the girl i'm talking about in this story didn't have much (if any) contact while i was in this relationship for around two years) and tried dating other's for a while with no luck. In October last year, she broke up with her boyfriend, seemed pretty cut up about it as she was cheated on, and made a comment about a holiday, she said "I'm going to kiss as many guys as i can and take pictures for him to see" (Please don't think badly of her as she was really emotional at the time) that considered, i was pretty cut up and hurt by the comment, though i never told her. Sense that day, i've thought about her constantly and realised i had never felt love before her, which i didn't pick up on until around november, now i can't stop thinking about her, everyday is a struggle, every movie i watch with a happy ending gets me sort of depressed. So on Saturday night, a few of us were going out and I'd asked him to come along too. How can I get over the death of my dog? I used to have a dog, he is pictured in my avatar. One has never gotten over his loss which happened last November. It was Bonfire night and one had a dinner party where friends and family joined us in celebration. We had a fireworks display in our back garden which I was incharge. I set up a rocket and lit it before carefully moving back to a safe distance. To my horror, my dear little dog Ern ran out towards the rocket and picked it up in his mouth like a stick. Why won't my Flash movie work once it's loaded onto the server? I've built a Flash movie that runs through and displays a number of different pictures onto my webpage. It works fine when it's ran on my machine, but once I load it onto the server it does nothing. Only the background for the images shows up. can anyone correct my writing please? on last week, I did Religious Education about Diwali.This was the story of Diwali and making on Indian traditional sweets and Diwali story related Art activity. I prepared the whole class activity of storytelling with pictures and the small group sessions are making sweets and colouring activity. First, I used the teacher laptop and I selected the picture of Diva lamps then I displayed the picture of burning diva lamps on the interactive whiteboard because the word Diwali means "rows of lighted lamps”. So I showed that picture with children. The class teacher read my preparation of Diwali story and I assisted to the teacher to realise the characters name, which was the mother of Hindu’s God, king of Lanka and Ayodhya and helping monkey warrior. I brought Indian traditional costume for children and adults. I showed them and I shared the information about that costume. The teacher already got the sand clay in the classroom. She explained to the children, how to make the Diva lamps? The children understood their task and they made the creative Diva lamps from sand clay. I did a cooking activity in two times with the two groups of children. That was the making on sweets (Pudding). I read clearly with the children about the name of the recipe, ingredients and the direction of cooking. I demonstrated with them about the cooking method. I shared the information and encouraged the children who were interested and involved on making that recipe. The children enjoyed that activity and they shared their Social, Physical, Intellectual, communication/creativity and Emotional feelings. The teacher and I discussed the risk assessment policy so I followed the health and safety rules and regulations in that situation. I didn’t use nuts and allergy ingredients. I helped to the teacher and the TA to wear the sari (Indian traditional costume). Children needed to know the more information about that material then I explained them and I communicated well in that classroom situation. I worked with the small groups of children their Art activity, which was the people were watching the fireworks. This was the Diwali story related activity. The teacher invited to the class B children in my class and they were come and shared their knowledge of Diwali. I and the class teacher were served that sweet recipe with the two class children. The children were enjoyed that situation. The teacher encouraged my every work on that day. Finally, the children and the teachers were thanked me to the preparation of Diwali activity. I felt happy and I hope, that day was the very special for the children in the school situation.

Hey Im using an overlay and I can get my image to display, (essientially its just a large image with linkable areas) I created it in photoshop and then put it in dreamweaver to add the links. I put the code in my myspace and it displays but the links lead to invalid ID pages. I put the same image into Fireworks and then added buttons and then exported it to dreamweaver and then I had to take every image into photobucket but the links did work (same links as from the first code) but with buttons this time it worked. However, when I placed the code in my myspace it was spread out and not together. What do I do? Also: Sam I have the actually images uploaded on Photobucket so all the sources are there and everything appears online so its not the problem of uploading the images and I have the exact link names: it works when i paste them into the bar and hit enter but when i paste the EXACT same thing into the link location on dreamweaver and then when i add the page online the link directs me elsewhere although still to a page in myspace

Will she remember me and all the good times we had together? Well i really loved this girl very much and we went out for 6 months. Last Valentines day i bought her 50 roses and 4 boxes of chocolate and a small cute teddy bear. She accepted the gifts and her whole family were very happy when i gave her the gifts. Her mother is retired and before, she was working very hard to pay of the rents. I had written her a letter to say not to work and that i would give the money to help with the debts, As her mother read the letter she was in tears and from that day on she never worked and was very happy with me. On Christmas day i displayed her name in fireworks in the sky and bought her a book which was her most favourite. Also whenever it was her sisters or an y family members birthday i would always with thema happy birthday and give them a box of chocolates. I took her and her sister chester zoo and blackpool and restaurants and cinemas etc... However 2 weeks before her birthday she called me and said i like somebody else now and he likes me. Do you think she would ever regret about me in all i had done for her ? I did everything i could possibly do to be with her and i always sent her nice texts. Even if i didnt have any credit on my mobile i would always email her or call her from my home telephone to let her know that i care about her. I was planning a surpirse for her birthday in getting a mosaic of her picture and a birthday cake with her photo on it. I only wanted to know whether she would remember me on the next valentines day and whether she would regret it.

Let’s look at the situation of fireworks accidents recorded in 2000,It can be clearly seen that accidents occuring at public displays fell to 30%,while family parties became the most dangeous place with a figure of 50% ,which was 2.5 times more than the number in p995,In terms of the other two factors ,the percentage of the accidents caused by teens playing alone remained the same, registering a number of 15%,while the accidents caused at pub celebrations redued by 10% than that in 1995(5%)

MACROMEDIA FIREWORKS MX 2004, ♥? hi hi right my question: on macromedia fireworks, i cant get anything to FlAsH! :/ this is what i do, Export preview then its comes up w/ a box and in the left corner its got Animated GIF and then 3 tabs Export Ok Cancle. and then i click Export and then i load it on to bebo, but it doesnt flash :/ i want to use it for making skins and also for display pictures x please help x ♥ whats the .swf file and how do i get it :/ the thing that is annoying is that ive done it before tho...
